International Women’s Day Sunday March 8 2026
On this International Women’s Day, take up space
Help Brighton celebrate the incredible women who shape our club — on the pitch, on the sidelines, and behind the scenes.
Our women’s team continues to raise the bar with their grit, determination, and passion for the game. They inspire the next generation, challenge expectations, and show exactly what strength in rugby looks like.
To every player, coach, volunteer, supporter, and young girl picking up a rugby ball for the first time; thank you for being part of our community and growing rugby in SA.
Here’s to the women of Brighton Rugby Club.
Here’s to progress, pride, and powerful rugby.

Win a team members weight in Coopers
Brighton Carpet Bowls Night is rolling into the Club on March 28 at 7pm. Get back to Brighton after the first game of the season!
Every team of two will hit the mat for glory & bragging rights, but only if you arrive in full bowls whites. Tradition matters. Prestige matters. You will lose points if you’re not in proper whites. No exceptions, no mercy.
What’s happening on the night:
• A full Opening Ceremony to kick things off — uniforms judged, teams introduced, pride on the line.
• Fast, loud, competitive matches where precision meets pure luck.
• Teams of 2, $5 per person, equipment provided.
During the summer Brighton hosted a wide variety of events, ranging from the 100kg+ sprint during the SA Athletics league meeting, to the Super Sixers Cricket day, and of course the Junior Academy, with more than 70 Brighton Juniors benefiting from some expert pre-season coaching!
We look forward to seeing you all down at the club, with Round one fast approaching!
Join us for a meal and a drink, watch the rugby, and get involved in an exciting new season of rugby!
