Round 6 against Southern Suburbs
This week is our second home game for 2026, and it’s set to be another big one!
Matches start at 8.30am with the Under 10s, and 8.40am for Get into Rugby and Under 8s. The canteen will be open, so grab a coffee and brekkie while you watch our future stars!
Brighton Under 12s are up next at 9.20am, with both Under 12 teams in action again. After two great wins last week, Brighton will be looking for another chance to move up the ladder.
The Brighton Under 14s play at 10.20, and will try to move clear of the teams below them while they prepare for the big game next week to see who takes out top position. After that at 11.30am the Brighton Under 16s have a big chance to break through in front of their home supporters, after falling just short last week.
The Brighton Women are back in action at 12.30, after a bye week. More new players arriving and great numbers at training have the Women’s squad feeling very positive, and the team will also be bolstered by great support at home.
Brighton Thirds play up at Port Adelaide at 12.30pm, and can move into second position if they defeat Burnside! And back at Brighton Road, the Thirds Gold team will be careful not to slip up against a winless Souths from 1.50pm, as they prepare to also take on Burnside next week!
Brighton reserve grade play at 3.10pm. The next two weeks are vital for Brighton, with a chance to get clear of Souths and Burnside. All three sides are currently on 4 wins, but Brighton have been impressive in recent weeks, and will also have huge support from the home crowd.
The final game of the day is under lights from 4.40pm, and will be a massive one for both sides! Souths are currently top of the ladder with only a single draw spoiling their record. However Brighton are also undefeated and have played one game less than their opponents. Brighton will want to stay disciplined and finish the day as clear ladder leaders, and give the crowd plenty to cheer about!
