Get Into Rugby @ Brighton Primary School Term 1 2025
This term the RUSA Development officer for the Southern area Troy Doughty will be running ‘Get Into Rugby’ sessions at Brighton Primary School. This is a new National program to provide participants with the skills, understanding and confidence to transition to Junior rugby and beyond.
We are looking for some help from Brighton members in running some of these sessions. If you can assist Troy for a day or part day, this would be greatly appreciated by Brighton Rugby Club and RUSA.
Troy particularly needs some helpers on Friday 14 March and Friday 28 March.
This is an exciting opportunity to expose current and potential future Brighton Juniors to rugby and further develop their skills.
If you are able to help, please contact the club at secretary@brightonrugbysa.net.au
or speak to Noel, Andrew or one of the committee at training.
A Working with Children’s Check required. All checks are free for volunteers.
Get into Rugby – Brighton Primary School, Term 1 2025

Sessions 09:00 am to 03:10 pm. Approx. 40-45mins sessions.
Week 6, 7, 8 and 9

Thanks for coming to Registration day!
Thank you to all the junior players and parents who came out on Saturday for Junior Registration. More than 70 junior players are now registered!
Please also remember your Sports Vouchers. This year the SA Government has expanded this to 2 x $100 for each child (up to year 9). These can both be used for rugby if required, which will completely offset the playing fees for most juniors.
The Sports Vouchers can be downloaded at this link, and the completed form must be handed in to the Club Secretary Andrew Cropley to be submitted for reimbursement.
