Junior Grand Finals
Senior Prelim Finals
Week 2 of Finals is upon us, and we have two very big days ahead for Brighton!
First of all on Saturday afternoon at Old Collegians we have the Brighton Reserve Grade and Premier Grade both playing for a place in the Grand Final. Both games are being played against Burnside, and wins in either will result in playing Old Collegians the following week in the Grand Final at Bailey Reserve.
Brighton Reserve Grade fell just short last week, but were the top side all season, and will be confident of playing at their usual high level to win through to the final. They play Burnside at 1.40pm.
Brighton Premier Grade had a confidence boosting win last week, and can go into this week’s game ready to get the club back where it belongs, contesting Premier Grade finals! Their game against Burnside is at 3.30pm.
On Sunday the biggest junior games of the season are on at Barossa, with the Junior Grand Finals taking place. Brighton Under 14s and Under 18s are representing the club and hoping to take home the big prize.
Brighton Under 14s have had a fantastic season, and will look forward to their chance to take down the minor premiers Old Collegians. The Under 14s game kicks off at 11.30 on Sunday.
The Junior Grand Finals finish up with the big one, the Under 18s featuring Brighton vs Old Collegians in a repeat of last year. The Brighton side will be very keen to have another crack at Old Colls and will be full of confidence after their win against Onkaparinga last week.
Congratulations to all of the Brighton teams on your efforts to make it to this stage of the season, and good luck this weekend!
