ANZAC Day Dawn Service

Brighton will be laying a wreath at the ANZAC dawn service at Brighton Jetty, tomorrow morning, Friday April 25th from 5.30am.

Everyone is welcome to attend, as we remember the fallen and those who have served our country, in particular current and past members of the club. Please wear your club colours if you can make it.

RUSA ANZAC Day Round
Brighton vs Elizabeth

This weekend is the traditional ANZAC day clash between last year’s grand finalists. For the first time in several years Brighton will not be taking part, as Burnside take on Old Collegians on Friday night at Parkinson Oval. The ANZAC Day rematch will also be live streamed, through rugby.com.au or the Rugby Xplorer app.

Saturday sees Brighton Premier Grade and Women having a well-deserved rest while most of the rest of the club takes on Elizabeth at Womma, with the U18s playing Onkas at Waite Oval and Thirds Black playing at Barossa for top position in Third grade!

All teams will be looking to consolidate their positions on the ladder, after a tough opening two rounds. Please join us on Saturday for a big day of rugby!

Volunteers needed

The club needs volunteers to help with jobs on match days, especially home games.

In particular we need volunteers to act as Ground Marshalls. One of these is required at every game, juniors and seniors. The coaches and managers are not able to fill this role as well, and are also busy organising their teams.

If you are able to assist the club by acting as a Ground Marshall, volunteering your time in the canteen, or by helping with any other of many jobs on match days, please see your team’s manager or speak to one of the club committee during the week.
