New Summer Touch Season
You are invited to join us at the 75th Brighton Rugby Club AGM
Friday the 21st of November, 6.00pm start

All members of the club are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please contact the Club Secretary before the meeting if you are unsure whether you have voting rights.
Prior to the start of the AGM, there will be a Special General Meeting to consider and vote on two changes in wording to the Brighton Rugby Club Constitution. The AGM will follow immediately after the conclusion of the SGM.
The details of the SGM changes are included in the Annual Report
in the SGM Agenda. Please read prior to the SGM vote.
In order to facilitate the smooth running of the SGM and AGM, please submit to the club any questions you wish to raise. This will ensure that these queries can be fully addressed during the meeting.
All Life Members, members who paid the $50 social membership, and full-fee paying players (18+) during the season, have voting rights.

Nominations for positions as club have closed. However please make the committee aware if you wish to assist filling any available volunteer positions in the club.

Service for Ethan Gardiner
As many of you already know, Ethan Gardiner passed away last month.
Ethan was a long-time junior player at Brighton, and more recently ran out with Brighton seniors for a couple of seasons… including a home game victory that finished with a memorable 21st birthday celebration in the changing rooms for Ethan!
Ethan’s funeral and celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, November 20th, 2025, commencing at 2:00 p.m., at Equippers Church, 255 Old South Road, Old Reynella. All members of the Brighton community are invited to attend, especially Ethan’s former teammates, coaches and friends at the club.
Please join us and give Ethan a great send-off!
Summer Touch 25/26
The new season of Summer Touch is happening every Tuesday evening at Brighton.
There is a full slate of teams playing in the Open and Mixed competitions… and if you are not already in a team, come down and make yourself available to fill in, or try your hand at refereeing! And if you don’t fancy that, just sit back and enjoy watching someone else run around, while you have a drink and something to eat.
Make sure you come down this Tuesday night and enjoy charcoal-cooked spicy Asian satays, 3 for $5. The Bar and Canteen are open and we look forward to seeing you there!|
