Round 9 against Adelaide University Barossa at Home
Round 9 we are away at Adelaide University for the end of the first round of matches in Season 2026. All Brighton Junior and Senior sides are keen to make sure they are set up well for the second half of the season and the run home to finals.
The Get into Rugby and Under 8 sides get the day started at 8.40am, and the Under 10s have a bye this week. Next up the Brighton Under 12 sides have their own version of the Battle of Brighton at 9.20am. At 10.20am the Brighton Under 14s will be ready to start moving back up the ladder after their week off, and the Brighton Under 16s will be playing Onkaparinga at 11.30am over at Port Adelaide.
Brighton Third grade Black have had a late forfeit for their game against Onkaparinga, and Thirds Gold have a bye this week, so the Thirds have a week off. The Brighton Women are back in action, playing Adelaide University at 12.40pm, before the Brighton Reserves take the field at 2.00pm. The day finishes with Brighton Premier grade attempting to maintain their perfect record from 3.30pm.
Once the rugby is done for the day, the Brighton Junior Quiz night is on back at the club from 7pm… if anyone would like to make a late entry for a table at the Quiz, please contact the club!
